Hello Alex, on Thursday night there is a slightly overlapping event that may interest the Flash community. I will paste the guy's email:

-------- Original Message --------
Subject: [electronicmusic-152] Performance at Luggage Store
         Gallery Thursday Night 8pm
Date: Mon, 17 Nov 2008 21:27:24
From: peter nyboer
To: electronicmusic-152@meetup.com

I know there's a meeting that sorta conflicts, but this event does
start later than the meeting, so if you can get to 6th and Market by
9:15 or so, you'd be able to catch my performance!

I'm performing at the Luggage Store Gallery this Thursday night, as
part of the "Music By the Eyeful" series. I'm premiering some new
work in Visual -> Audio sound creations. It is certainly
"experimental" in that I am working with knowns to created the
unexpected.
My newest creation combines the joys of music improv, mathematics
lecturing, simple concepts of sound synthesis, and mid-(last)-century
notions of electronic music scores. My instrument is a pen-and-
paper, channeled through a computer.
Show starts at 8pm, I play second, around 9pm

Hey Alex-
i didn't meet you the other night, but wanted to say thanks to you and the others for putting the San Flashcisco community together. It's great to have a place where designers and developers who love Flash can meet and have beer. Anyway, this Monday was my first San Flashcisco, but certainly not my last. Really cool...Thanks

Hey Alex,

Love your stuff. Was wondering if you would be interested in doing some freelance work, or pointing me in the direction of someone who would be interested. Drop me a line when you get a minute.

thanks,
Alex
