Create Flash Player 10 Beta Content
As announced in the early hours of this morning, Flash Player 10 Beta is now available to the general public via the labs.adobe.com website. This is fantastic news, but almost useless at the same time if your unable to create content for it.
Well never fear, the Adobe opensource team has release documentation on the steps you need to take in order to create your first Flash 10 content!
Check it out: opensource.adobe.com

Oh, its not useless. You need to use it to make sure it doesn’t break your existing content!
Updates to the Flash Player don’t just tack on new features like gum on the bottom of your desk. Core components of the player are constantly being modified and updated and there’s a large risk of breakage that includes screwing up something that may have worked perfectly fine in previous versions.
TEST TEST TEST!
Very good point, Trevor. Testing backward compatibility it very important.
